The Fountain of Youth takes your health and safety very seriously and respect the gravity of the current situation. Our hearts and love go out to everyone affected by these solemn circumstances.

We strive to not only meet health requirements but to exceed them. We are open and complying with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment requirements as well as the CDC.

We are staffed by a team of medical professionals (Medical Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant & Medical Aesthetician) who have always practiced the guidelines now being recommended by government organizations.

 

Our staff is equipped with N95 masks, gloves and additional PPE. We utilize Body Temperature Scanners and screen our staff at the beginning and end of each shift. Each client will be screened prior to treatment as well. Additionally, we offer surgical grade masks and gloves to any and all clients who would like to utilize them. We use hospital grade disinfectants, utilize disposable consumables, wear proper medical attire, to name only a few. We also cover every treatment bed with linens that are replaced between each client. All of our surfaces are professionally cleaned and regularly sanitized. The Fountain of Youth’s Plan to Responsibly Operate During The Covid-19 Crisis

 

The Fountain of Youth places health and welfare of our staff and our clients as the first and foremost priority. We are following all of recommendations by the CDC, federal and State governments, as well as all medical guidelines for health and sanitation.

To provide a safe environment for our clients and our staff we will be implementing best practices. We have outlined a detailed plan that we will strictly adhere to for the foreseeable future.

Staff and Client Health

 

The health and safety of our staff and clients will be our #1 priority.

  1. We will be checking the temperature of all staff and clients with a no-touch infrared thermometer. Anyone who has a temperature of over 99.9 degrees will be asked to go home (staff) or reschedule (clients).

  2. Staff will be screened with our no touch infrared thermometer at the very beginning and the very end of each shift.

  3. We are conducting a medical screening prior to treatment for all clients.

  4. Our staff is fully equipped with N95 Masks that they will use if within 6ft of clients or other personnel.

  5. We have surgical grade masks and gloves readily available for all clients.

  6. We have lengthened all treatment times to allocate more time to thoroughly sanitize each treatment room after use.

  7. Currently we are scheduling one client at a time to ensure social distancing.

  8. All doors and handles are being sanitized multiple times every day.

  9. We will be sanitizing counters and computer keyboards multiple times every day.

  10. The front waiting room will be sanitized between each client.

  11. The front desk will not handle any credit cards. The client will insert the card themselves.  We will encourage our clients to register their credit card on file with us so on future visits, no physical transaction will be necessary.

  12. Our staff is highly trained in medical hygiene practices and will continue to uphold these strict policies, i.e. proper hand washing with antibacterial soap, not touching faces, properly discarding all consumables after each use, discarding gloves after each use, etc.

  13. We change the linens on each treatment bed between each client.

  14. All robes are professionally cleaned and fresh for each client.

  15. All slippers are brand new in packaging and allowed to be kept by each client.

  16. The entire facility is professionally cleaned and sanitized daily.

  17. We are offering free, contact-less shipping on any products sold within our Medspa.

Hand Washing and Hand Sanitizer

  1. We have hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the clinic. We encourage our guests to wash their hands with warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds and / or sanitize their hands prior to entering the clinic and treatment rooms.

  2. Our support staff will wash their hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds every hour regardless if they are or have been seeing a client.

  3. Our providers will wash their hands, and/or use hand sanitizer, before and after each treatment.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  1. The Fountain of Youth will provide all employees with N95 masks. These masks are the highest in the industry as we place our staff as our greatest asset.  When providers are performing any ablative treatments, they will wear our medical masks.

  2. Gloves are to be worn by all providers during all treatments.

  3. Surgical grade masks as well as gloves are offered to clients free of charge.

  4. Staff members are clothed in medical scrubs that are professionally sanitized and dry cleaned after each use.
